Don’t let the fear control you, Scare off the Monster

Monsters have been creeping into our imaginations for centuries, haunting our dreams and filling us with fear. They come in all shapes and forms, from the classic Dracula to the supernatural apparitions. Even though they may be just in our heads, the fear they create can be debilitating. So, how can we take control of our fear and scare off the monster?

Identify the Monster

The first step in overcoming your fear is to identify the source. What exactly is the monster that is making you afraid? It could be a specific situation, object, or even a phobia. For example, if you are scared of heights, it is important to recognize that this fear is related to the height of a specific place and not the entire experience of going up high. Once you have identified the monster, you can begin to take steps to address it.

If you are scared of spiders, you could start by simply looking at pictures of them, gradually working your way up to being in the same room.
